With the BIM 360 Field mobile app for the iPad, you can scan barcodes and link them to project records.
After this linking, that record or set of records appears each time you scan a barcode.
Note: Barcodes linked in the mobile app don't appear in the BIM 360 Field web application.
- Tap .
- Scan a barcode.
- The Map Code dialog displays a list of items that were visited on the iPad since the last sync. If you want to associate the barcode with a record that doesn't appear in the list, close the dialog. Then view the record in the app and scan the code again.
- Tap the location name to link the barcode to that record.
- Tap Sync to sync with the BIM 360 Field web application. Now when you rescan the barcode in the app, you see the corresponding project record.
