Assets Navigation Basics

The Assets tool interface contains the following features:

1. Assets and Systems Tabs

Use the tabs to switch between viewing a list of assets or a list of asset systems.

Note: The export, search, and filter options (5) are only available on the Assets tab.

View the categories and subcategories that have been created for the assets or systems in the project.

Select a category or subcategory to filter the assets or systems list.

Once asset settings have been specified, create assets individually or import assets in bulk using an XLSX template.

Depending on the tab (1) selected, view a list of the assets or systems in the project.

Click the column headings to sort the list, or click to customize the columns.

Export a list of assets, search for assets by name, or filter assets by status, location, model, or custom fields.

Project administrators can access the Assets > Settings page to specify categories, custom fields and statuses, and permissions.
