Building Pad Properties Panel

Select a building pad in the Grading Objects Browser or in the Visualization Display to open this properties panel. Use this dialog to modify the constraints for individual building pads.

Property Definitions

Name

Specifies the display name of the building pad.

Elevation

Enables elevation constraint properties for the building pad.

Fixed Elevation Value

Specifies that the building pad should maintain the elevation specified in the Elevation property.

Elevation

Defines the fixed elevation of the building pad. This property is only enabled when the Fixed Elevation Value property is selected.

Min Elevation

Specifies a minimum elevation optimization constraint for the building pad. This property is only enabled when the Fixed Elevation Value property is deselected.

Max Elevation

Specifies a maximum elevation optimization constraint for the building pad. This property is only enabled when the Fixed Elevation Value property is deselected.

Level Grading with Pad

Forces the grading along the building pad to attempt to be level with the pad elevation.

Depth of Material

Represents the combined depth of the concrete pad, stone, and other base materials that should not be considered with the cut and fill data.

Drain Away

Specifies that drainage is directed away from the building pad. Enable the Hydrology Direction Vectors in the Visualization Toolbar to view how the drainage is applied to the pad.

Color

Specifies the color of the representative point, line segments, or areas of the grading object in the visualization display.

Active

Enables the grading object to be included in the optimization. When deselected, it is ignored.

Visible

Enables the grading object to be seen in the visualization display. When deselected, it is hidden but still active.
