Release Notes for Autodesk® Civil 3D® 2023.2.2

The Autodesk Civil 3D 2023.2.2 Update fixes the following issues:

Autodesk Connector for ArcGIS
Civil 3D 2021 added support for layer refreshes in the Autodesk Connector for ArcGIS. Civil 3D 2024 added support for importing ArcGIS layers as AutoCAD objects and layer settings to apply stylization and custom object assignments based on a query. With the changes in Civil 3D 2024, a stability issue would occur when a drawing that had imported ArcGIS objects was saved and opened in Civil 3D 2021 through Civil 3D 2023 and the ArcGIS layer was refreshed in the Data Source Manager. This update fixes the stability issue for Civil 3D 2023 and enables the layer setting assignments made in Civil 3D 2024 to be maintained when layers are refreshed in Civil 3D 2023.
Importing an ArcGIS point layer with 1,000 objects into Civil 3D as COGO points takes approximately 8 seconds. However, refreshing a simple change from ArcGIS could take more than 4 minutes. This issue would occur in Civil 3D 2021 through Civil 3D 2024. This update improves the refresh time in Civil 3D 2023 so that refreshing data will take a similar time as importing data.
COGO Points
Fixed an issue in which points with point numbers larger than 2,147,000,000 would be assigned a negative value when assigned to a point group.
Data Shortcuts
Fixed a stability issue that would occur when switching between different drawings associated with different data shortcut project folders.
Fixed an issue in which data shortcuts could not be loaded while using the Always Available Offline setting in Microsoft Windows 10 on folders on a network location.
Miscellaneous
Fixed a stability issue in the French, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese versions of Civil 3D that would occur when opening some specific drawings.
Object Enabler
Fixed a stability issue that would occur when opening a DWG file in Autodesk Navisworks with the Civil 3D Object Enabler installed.

Note: This fix requires the installation of an updated version of Object Enabler, which is available on the Plug-Ins tab of supported Autodesk products on Autodesk Accounts or from the Plug-Ins section when creating a custom install for the supported products.

Pressure Networks
Added the ability to select the pipe run alignment from a dialog box when relinking pipe runs.

Important: The Civil 3D 2023.2.2 Update cannot be uninstalled. To restore Civil 3D to a prior version of Civil 3D 2023, you must uninstall Civil 3D 2023 and reinstall it.

Note: The AutoCAD 2023.1.3 Update is included in the Civil 3D 2023.2.2 Update. The Civil 3D 2023.2.2 Update includes the fixes in all prior updates to Civil 3D 2023 and can be installed on any prior version of Civil 3D 2023.
