Template Customization
The Geotechnical Modeler installation includes an AutoCAD Civil 3D < release year > drawing template (DWT) which contains the styles, symbols and settings required for the add-ons function. In addition to revising the geological hatch patterns, you have the option to customize the existing Geotechnical Modeler template ards. The following Civilto match existing company, client, jurisdictional, or aesthetic stand 3D objects can be customized within the supplied template:
• Point Styles
• Point Label Styles
• Profile Styles
• Profile View Styles
• Surface Styles
• Blocks
• Text Styles
The Geotechnical Modeler Template file can be found in the following location:
C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\C3D-GeoTechModeler-< release year >\StyleTemplateDrawing
Note: When modifying the included Civil 3D template, it is important leave all names as
they appear. Changing names within the template will prevent the Geotechnical Modeler
from running as expected.
