Geotechnical Modeler Dialog Box Reference

Use these dialog boxes to manage borehole data and to visualize subsurface information. Each dialog box can be accessed using the buttons shown below, which are located on the Geotechnical Modeler tab of the ribbon.

Manage Borehole Data Dialog Box

This dialog box is accessed by selecting the Manage Data button located on the Geotechnical Modeler tab on the ribbon. Use this dialog box to create and access projects within the database, to import boreholes into the current Civil 3D drawing, and to apply filters to the dataset.

Build Stratum Surfaces Dialog Boxes

Use this dialog box to generate TIN surfaces from borehole data.

Stratum Surface Display Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to modify the surface display for all stratum surfaces for both plan view and model view.

Subsurface Profiles Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to generate a profile view for the selected subsurface data.

2D Sticklogs Window

Use this window to generate a two-dimensional sticklog representation of the borehole data in plan view.

3D Boreholes Window

Use this window to generate a three-dimensional representation of the borehole data in model view.

3D Export Window

Use this window and tabs to export 3D boreholes and stratum surfaces to a new Civil 3D drawing and to configure the stratum surface components to be exported.
