Tool Reference
This section describes the tools that are available in the Autodesk Subassembly Composer for Autodesk Civil 3D.
Topics in this section
- Using Tools
This topic describes how to use the tools together to create subassembly geometry. - Sample PKT Files
To help you get started, you can refer to sample PKT files. - Menu Bar
The menu bar contains standard commands. - Tool Box
The Tool Box contains collections of tools that are used to build the geometry of the subassembly. - Find and Replace
The Find and Replace dialog box enables you to find and replace items in the flowchart, parameters, Define Codes dialog box, and the Define Enumeration dialog box. - Codes
The Define Codes dialog box enables you to define a set of codes that you can use in a subassembly and to export and import them so they can be used in other subassemblies. - Enumerated Groups of Input Parameters
The Define Enumeration dialog box enables you to define a set of selectable standards for an input parameter. - Flowchart
Use the flowchart to organize the elements that define the subassembly geometry. - Properties Panel
Use the Properties panel to specify the parameters that define each geometry element. - Preview Panel
Use the Preview panel to see a graphical representation of the subassembly geometry as it is composed. - Settings and Parameters Panel
Use the settings and parameters panel to define parameters that affect how the Preview panel displays the subassembly, and to define the parameters that must be specified when the subassembly is inserted into a corridor model.
