Copies selected objects to the Clipboard, along with a specified base point, and removes them from the drawing.

You can paste the contents of the Clipboard into a document or drawing as an embedded OLE object (see PASTECLIP and PASTESPEC). When you paste an object cut with CUTBASE, it is placed relative to the specified base point. CUTBASE does not create OLE link information.
