To Pan the Current View by Specifying Points

Click View menu Pan Point.
The menu bar is not displayed by default, so an alternative method is to enter -PAN at the Command prompt.
Specify a base point. This is the point you want to change.
Specify a second (pan to) point. This is the new location for the point that you selected first.
