AutoCAD 2026 must be installed on a 64-bit version of Windows that is currently supported by Microsoft. When Microsoft ends support for a Windows version, our support for Autodesk products running on that Windows version also ends. Install the latest Windows updates before installing your Autodesk product.

To install Autodesk ReCap Pro for AutoCAD 2026, download and install it from https://www.autodesk.com/products/recap/overview.

If Microsoft .NET 8 is not already installed, AutoCAD 2026 installs it. Microsoft .NET 8 requires a Windows version that Microsoft currently supports.
