Known Issues in Autodesk Civil 3D 2026

This document lists known issues in Autodesk Civil 3D 2026.

Dynamo
The Parcel.UserDefinedProperties node produces a warning when the parcel's UDPs are used in a label expression.
The Catchment.RunoffMethod node does not properly return the EPA SWMM and Santa Barbara Urban Hydrograph runoff methods.
The Label.SetLabelStyle node does not support child label styles.
The Profile.BySurface and Profile.ByStationsElevations nodes return null when the profile object layer does not exist in the drawing.
The saved value for the Choose Object Type node may change when the graph is opened in an environment with a different language.
The Block.Extents node returns null when the block definition contains certain types of invalid geometry.
The Object.Geometry node returns null for rotated viewports.
The Object.Geometry and FeatureLine.Curve2D nodes produce incorrect geometry for intersecting feature lines.
Miscellaneous
The batch save tool will not work properly when the target folders are in an Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) project for which project-aware support files have been setup. The following three options help workaround this issue.
  • Option 1. Upload all scripts to the ACC project folder .autodesk.support under Project Files.
  • Option 2. Upload all scripts to any ACC project folder and ask the Project Administrator to add the script paths into Civil 3D > Options > Files > Project Settings > Support Files Search Paths.
  • Option 3. Add the local script paths into Civil 3D > Options > Files > My Settings > Trusted Locations.
Project Explorer
When triggering actions by type from the AeccRunProjectExplorerActions command in Russian language version of Civil 3D, the dynamic keyword does not function correctly if expressed in Russian. To workaround this issue, use the global keyword _dynamic.
Surfaces
Surfaces using external large MMS files become proxy objects after saving and reopening the drawing.
