Channels

Add and modify channels to your drainage system model.

Stormwater control channels are engineered waterways designed to prevent flooding and erosion in urban and roadside environments. These open-air canals, often trapezoidal and reinforced with vegetation or riprap, safely transport excess stormwater to rivers or other bodies of water, effectively reducing erosion and sediment buildup.

Using Drainage Analysis you can sketch channels as feature lines along with your existing gravity pipe network and assign parameters such as section geometry and analysis data such as inflows and outlets.
