To Extract Feature Lines from a Pond

Using the Feature Lines from Pond command, you can extract all of the feature lines at once or just the top and bottom depth geometry of the pond. The following procedure describes this process.

1. Select the pond.

2. Click Pond tab > Launch Pad panel > Feature Lines from Pond .

3. In the Extract Feature Lines dialog box, the default feature line Name convention is displayed. Its format is as follows:

   < pond name > - Feature Line - < number >

4. Specify a Feature Line Style from the drop-down.

5. Specify the layer for the feature lines.

6. Specify to either extract all feature lines (including any interior contours) or just the top and bottom of the pond.

7. Enable or disable dynamic links between the feature lines and the pond.

8. Click OK to continue extraction or Cancel to close the tool and return to the drawing.
