Ponds are an effective solution for managing and treating stormwater runoff. They capture and hold stormwater, helping to both control the volume of water and improve its quality by naturally removing pollutants. These ponds function by being connected to storm drains through an underground pipe network, which channels water into the pond. The system is designed to handle large volumes of water influx, while a controlled outlet releases water as needed to maintain an optimal water level.

Using Drainage Analysis you can sketch a pond along with your existing gravity pipe network and assign parameters that define geometry, capacity, and connectivity to the drainage system.
