To Review and Correct Errors and Warnings
Once Rainfall Sets are created, click Run Analysis.
An initial drainage system check is issued prior to analysis. When this initial system check is complete the Errors and Warnings summary displays showing any warning and errors for the Drainage System, Pipes, Structures, Catchments, and Stormwater Controls.
- Review the tabular data and correct any warnings and errors.
- Click Update to analyze again.
- Repeat until your design reports it is error free.
To Fix Analysis Errors and Warnings
Click the Status drop-down menu to filter which elements to view. This shows the data filtered as All, Errors, and Warnings.
Each problematic object is listed with its status as follows:
- Status. Displays a status icon for the object. Either Warning
or Error
.
- Name. Displays the name of the object in the drainage system.
- Object Type. Displays the type of object in the drainage system. Either Catchment, Pipe, Structure, or Pond.
- Error Type. Displays a summary of the warning or error for the object.
- Zoom to Object
. Zooms into the drainage system object in the drawing.
- Drainage Object Properties
. Opens the object properties dialog box.
Correcting the drainage system is an iterative process.
- Use the Zoom to Object tool to locate the object and correct any drawing issues such as connections, location, object type, sizes, and elevation.
- Use the Object Properties dialog boxes to update any parameter issues for the object.
- Once corrections are made, click Update to refresh the results.
- Click Analyze to continue analysing the system..
- Click Cancel Analysis to close the current analysis.
When your drainage system has been reviewed and is clear of any errors or potential issues, the final analysis can be run.
