Use the Event Viewer to view surface build errors that occur when data or edit operations cannot be performed due to removal of the data or its dependencies.

The following is a list of build errors that can be displayed:

Possible Cause

Build Error - Duplicate Point

A duplicate point XY location was ignored at <XY coordinates>.

Build Error - Crossing Breakline

A crossing breakline was ignored at <starting or ending coordinate>.

Build Error - Breakline Crossing an Existing Data Point

Breakline crosses an existing point.
