You can use several methods for removing data from a drawing, surface definition, or from both.
When deleting AutoCAD objects, the surface definition is deleted along with the AutoCAD object if the Copy Deleted Dependent Objects option in the surface definition is set to No. For more information, see Definition Tab (Surface Properties Dialog Box).
