Annotate either the lines and curves of a survey figure, or the area of a closed survey figure.
Label types are available for survey figure lines, curves, and figure objects. Survey Figure is available as a reference text component type, which enables survey figure information to be displayed in other label types, such as the General Note label.
NoteTo label the area of a figure, the label style must contain a user defined property that calculates the area.
The properties that can be labeled by a survey figure label include a variety of basic figure properties, as well as any user-defined properties that have been imported into the drawing.
- Click Annotate tab

. - In the drawing, select a survey figure.
To add labels to single or multiple segments
- Click Annotate tabLabels & Tables panelAdd Labels menuFigureSingle Segment or Multiple Segments.
- If you select Single Segment you are prompted to select a point on an entity in the drawing. If you select Multiple Segment you are prompted to select an entity in the drawing.
- Click Annotate tabLabels & Tables panelAdd Tables menu FigureAdd Line/Curve/Segment
. - Specify values in the Table Creation dialog box.
