The Line By Station/Offset command runs the AutoCAD Line command combined with the ‘SO transparent command so you can immediately specify a station and offset from an alignment.
An alignment must exist in the drawing to use this command.
To create a line by specifying station and offset from an alignment
- Click Home tab
Draw panelLine drop-downCreate Line Station/Offset
. - Select the alignment.
- Specify a station by either entering a station value or clicking in the drawing.
- Specify a distance by either entering an offset or clicking in the drawing.
- Specify a station and offset for the next point in the line. Or press Enter to return to the Line command prompt where you can use additional options to define the line.
