Changing Alignment Tangency Constraints

To change alignment tangency constraints

1. Click the alignment. Click Alignment tabModify panelGeometry Editor.
2. On the Alignment Layout Tools toolbar, click Alignment Grid View.

   The Alignment Entities Window displays the attributes of only the selected alignment entities. If you select another entity using Ctrl+click, it is added to the list.

3. In the Tangency Constraint column, click the desired row.
4. Select the Tangency Constraint from the list.
   NoteThe Tangency Constraint of adjacent entities automatically changed. For example, if you have a free curve between two fixed lines, and you change the second line to Constrained By Previous (Floating), then the curve will also be changed to Constrained By Previous (Floating). This happens because a free entity can exist only between two fixed entities.
