Inserting Survey Query Results into a Drawing

Apply the current survey query to the survey database and adds the resulting points and figures to the drawing.

The query is executed and the resulting points and figures are added to the drawing as static figures.

To insert survey query results into a drawing

  1. Open a survey database. For more information, see Survey Database.
  2. Click Survey tab Modify panelSurvey Query.
  3. Click Survey Query tab Manage panelQuery List drop-down[Query Name to be Inserted].
  4. Click Survey Query tab Query Results panelInsert Into Drawing.

    The survey points and figures that are included in the survey query are added to the drawing and are displayed in the Prospector:

    • The survey points are added to the Points_All Points group.
    • The survey figures are added to the SurveyFigures collection.
