Create a new point cloud database

Select if you’d like to create a point cloud database.

Select a Point Cloud File Format

Specifies a file format of the point cloud source data file.

Files to Be Imported into the New Point Cloud Database

Specifies the point cloud data files to be imported into a point cloud database.

Click to add one or several files to the import list.

Click to remove a file from the import list.

Use an Existing Point Cloud Database

Select to create a point cloud using an existing point cloud database.

New/Existing Point Cloud Database

Click to select the existing point cloud database file (.isd).

Note

By default, the point cloud database file is saved in the same folder where the destination drawing is saved.

Point Cloud Database Coordinate System

Specifies the coordinate system assigned to the point cloud data set. The field displays <None> if no geospatial data is available.

Current Drawing’s Coordinate System

Specifies the coordinate system assigned to the current drawing. The field displays <None> the drawing has no coordinate system reference.
