Preparing the Drawing for Corridor Creation

Creating drawing templates that contain standard styles and settings will help you work more efficiently and ensure that your final drawings conform to your office standards.

Open a drawing		Open an existing drawing or create a new one.
Select the default settings		Use corridor settings to specify the default behavior for corridor-related commands.
Create the styles		Styles control the display and design characteristics of drawing objects.
Create the label styles		You can define default label settings at three different levels.
Create the quantity takeoff criteria		Use quantity takeoff settings to specify the default style and name format settings for quantity takeoff.
Save the drawing as a template (.dwt)		By saving as a template, you can leverage the style and setting changes.
