Checking for Tangency Between Alignment Entities

When this feature is enabled, if any line, curve, or spiral element is not tangent and connected to an adjacent element, a Warning symbol is displayed on the element in the drawing, in the Alignment Entities Vista, and on the Alignment Layout Parameters Window.

To check for tangency between alignment entities

1. Click the alignment. Click Alignment tabModify panelAlignment Properties drop-downAlignment Properties.
2. In the Alignment Properties dialog box, click the Design Criteria tab.
3. Select Check for Tangency Between Elements.
4. Click OK.
   Note

   The entire alignment is checked when you click either Apply or OK.
