Finding a Specific Event in the Event Viewer

Search the event list to find events that meet specified criteria.

To find a specific event in the Event Viewer

  1. Click View tabPalettes panel Event Viewer.
  2. In the Event Viewer, click View menu Find.
  3. In the Find Event dialog box, specify the criteria that match the event you are searching for.
  4. Click Find Next.
  5. To search for the next event that matches the specified criteria, click Find Next again.
