You can preview a surface in the Prospector item list view.

To preview a surface

Ensure that the Item Preview button on the Prospector tab is selected. For more information, see Graphical View.
In Toolspace, on the Prospector tab, right-click the Surfaces collection and click Show Preview.

Note
A check mark is displayed next to the Show Preview menu item when the preview is enabled.
In the Prospector tree, click the surface that you want to preview.
The surface is displayed in the Prospector item view.

Note
The preview of the surface uses the same display styles as the surface in the drawing area.
