Add Models to the Home Tool
Sets, sheets, 3D views, and the aggregated project model that appear in the Home tool in Design Collaboration can be added using three methods:
Publishing one or more sets from Revit to your team folder.
Publishing from Revit adds models to specified folders in the Files tool (in Docs or Build). You can then use Design Collaboration to share and compare these models with other teams. Refer to the Revit help to learn more about selecting views and sheets to publish.
Tip: Whenever a set is published, the underlying model comes along with it. In the case that you publish from Revit without selecting any sets, Design Collaboration uses the name of the model to represent the set.See the Upload Revit Models video for more information about the process of publishing models from Revit.
Uploading models directly to the Files tool (in Docs or Build).
Refer to the Manage Files topic in the Docs help to learn more about uploading models directly to the Files tool.
Uploading models through Desktop Connector.
