About Changes in Design Collaboration

The Changes tool in Design Collaboration helps multi-firm teams efficiently understand design changes in 3D models. This can help project managers and design leads working on multi-firm projects to avoid performing time-consuming manual procedures or using PDF markups to understand design changes.

The Changes tool contains two workflows to help with analysis and understanding of changes to models and documents:

• Compare - a feature that allows you to easily compare changes between two model or document versions.
• Watch groups - a feature that allows you to watch specific models or items for changes.

Both of these workflows use the Changes visualization interface to display change data.
