Create Publish Schedule for Cloud Workshared Revit Models
Project administrators, or project members with Manage permissions, can schedule a regular, automated publish of a team's work using the Schedule publish option in the Settings or Home tool. This allows you to share the latest work from a team without the need to manually publish cloud workshared models. Only models with changes since the last publish operation are included in scheduled publish operations.
In Design Collaboration, click the Settings tool or Home tool in the left panel.
- Settings tool: Click the Team Setup tab and select the checkbox for a team.
- Home tool: Select your team from the timeline.
Click Schedule publish or, if a schedule already exists for your team, click the schedule instead.
On the Schedule publish panel, click the day on which the publish should occur.
Note: Currently, only weekly publishing is supported.Use the Time drop-down list to select the hour of day in which the publish should occur.
Note: Publishing is attempted within the hour selected, and can take an hour or longer to complete. Therefore the time you select represents the earliest possible time that any file changes will be picked up.Click Save to save the schedule publish settings.
Once set, the schedule is indicated under the Schedule publish column in the list of teams in the Settings tool.
Remove a Publish Schedule
To remove a publish schedule:
In Design Collaboration, click the Settings tool or Home tool in the left panel.
- Settings tool: Click the Team Setup tab.
- Home tool: Select your team from the timeline.
If you are using the Settings tool:
- Click the Team Setup tab.
- Click None in the Schedule publish column next to the relevant team.
If you are using the Home tool:
Select your team from the timeline.
Click the existing schedule, which is displayed at the right of the screen:
On the Schedule publish panel, deselect the day on which publish currently occurs.
Click Save to save your changes.
