Project Timeline Nodes
Project timeline nodes represent either packages (circles) or stand-alone models (squares). Basic interactions with the timeline nodes include previewing, exploring details, or understanding changes between one node and the next. See the Timeline Symbols topic for more information about what each node on the timeline represents.
Preview a Node
Hover your cursor over a timeline node to see information about it.
Click the timeline node to see an overview of the package contents:
If you click a package you can see the name, release information, description, and the collection of items that are inside it. If you click a linked model, the model is displayed.
If you selected a package in step 2:
Click Explore to see the package details.
The newly shared items from the package are shown in the viewer in the context of the aggregated project model. Use the options in the panel to filter by teams, phases, and levels, or to see a list of sets, models, and documents in the package. See Aggregated Project Model for more information.
Click Show changes to compare changes between this package and the previous package from the same team. For more information, refer to the Change Visualization Interface topic.
Click Consume to consume the contents of the package into your team's space. See Packages for more information.
If you selected a model in step 2, use the panel in the viewer to filter the model by levels and phases, and see information about related sets. See Aggregated Project Model for more information about the filters. You can also open Change visualization to compare the model to its previous version.
