Content Catalog Version Support Update (2027 Release)

April 8, 2026

With the release of Autodesk 2027 product versions, Content Catalog version support is being updated to align with Autodesk’s supported product lifecycle. Supported versions in Content Catalog will now include: 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027

What this means for you:

Content Catalog will now support, upgrade, and surface:

  • 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027
  • Revit connection for features like Batch Export, Insert, etc.
  • Available in the File History tab in File Details
  • Content Catalog will automatically create versions of when files are uploaded (ascending years only)

Versions 2022 and 2023: Will no longer be supported within Content Catalog workflows (e.g., File Details, Insert). Will remain available for download only (that were automatically upgraded by Content Catalog previously) to help customers maintain continuity where needed.

Base Version

  • The base version is the original version (e.g., a 2015 file) of the content uploaded to Content Catalog.
  • The base version of your uploaded content will always be retained and available for download.

Download and Installation

Version 1.3.12.3

January 15, 2026

Enhancements

Content Catalog detects your Revit Cloud Model’s region and opens in the appropriate location, providing a smoother and more seamless content experience.

For local models, Content Catalog now offers a manual region selection option, giving you more control over where your content is sourced. Content Catalog now provides in-product notifications for new extension availability, offering users a direct link to download the latest version.

Note: We recommend installing the latest Revit extension to ensure proper access to your desired Content Catalog region. Without the update, you may experience issues and may need to manually navigate to the correct region URL in your browser.

In order to install Content Catalog Revit 2022-2026 Extension 1.3.12.3 you will need to uninstall previous version of the extension in add/remove programs.

‼️ Known Issue (Revit 2022 only): When launching from Revit 2022 and selecting a region, users may see an “access denied” message. If encountered, please launch the web application directly and connect to Revit 2022 from there.
