AutoCAD Connector - Known Limitations

  • AutoCAD Connectors are compatible with Vanilla AutoCAD only.
  • When creating a Data Exchange from a file with a meter unit set to "unitless file," the resulting Data Exchange in ACC may display incorrect scaling for certain data.
  • When multiple Data Exchanges are created in AutoCAD and some are later deleted in ACC, returning to AutoCAD and clicking "Refresh" triggers multiple deletion confirmation pop-ups. This is unexpected, as a single pop-up with a list of deleted Data Exchanges is the desired behavior.
  • When a Data Exchange is loaded, the transparency that was established for the geometry during the creation of the Data Exchange is not maintained.
  • Loading Civil 3D parameters into AutoCAD is not supported.
  • Users are not informed if the loaded exchange is improperly created or corrupted.
  • AutoCAD-to-AutoCAD Data Exchange does not display parameters of mesh and solid elements, or custom parameters of any object.
