Why loaded exchange into Inventor document does not have properties?
Restart the Inventor and try to load the exchange again. Currently, the connector only supports Category, Part number, and Description properties.
Which design views and model state do I need to create an exchange?
Exchanges require a Design view in Inventor to be included in the list of Views. By default, the Inventor document has one Model state and one design view named as [Default]. Users can create several Design views and Model states according to requirements. For exchange creation user can select the required design view from the UI drop-down and the Active model state will be automatically considered for exchange creation.
Note: Primary design view is not supported in exchange creation.
My exchange fails when I try to update it.
Inventor Cloud Work-sharing workflows require synchronization of the local model with the central model before updating an exchange. If you attempt to update an exchange with unsynchronized changes, it may cause failures. If you are in edit mode and try to update the exchange, then also it will give an error. In that case, return to the main assembly or part environment, save the document and then update.
Why exchange is not updating automatically?
Exchanges may not get updated automatically from the linked Inventor models. The user needs to click Update or Load latest.
