Known Limitations
- The Connector does not support parameters with empty values. Any empty parameters will not be imported into PowerBI.
- The Connector cannot import parameters with the 'Materials' data type, such as 'Structural Material.'
- Power BI dashboards do not automatically update when data exchanges are modified in ACC. Manual intervention is necessary to refresh the dashboards.
- When no element filter is applied within the Filter UI, at least one element should display a "Family" column. However, the "Family" column is currently not displayed.
- The "Parameter" field in the filter UI is case-sensitive. Ensure that the value you enter matches the exact combination of uppercase and lowercase letters.
- Data refresh on the Power BI web platform is unavailable for Connectors until they are officially certified by Microsoft.
- The selection or isolation feature may not work correctly when the loaded data from the Connector contains errors.
- The coloring feature currently allows applying colors to only one column at a time and does not support multi-column coloring.
- Ensure all active slicers or filters are removed during the model loading process. Failure to do so may lead to incomplete or incorrect data being displayed.
- The viewable displayed in ACC for AECDM-based Data Exchanges may not align with the corresponding view in the viewer.
- Instantly adding and removing viewer data in the data field can sometimes lead to ambiguity.
- When upgrading your previously created dashboard to version 2.0.10, please note that if it was built using the "Data Filter workflow," refreshing the dashboard might not work correctly. This could result in errors, such as missing columns or tables.
- IFC-based data exchanges do not support advanced properties, resulting in an empty drop-down menu.
- Models loaded after the initial model may flicker during zooming or panning until the viewer's progress bar is completed.
- After opening a saved .pbix file, remove all filters to view the model in the viewer without any constraints.
- For properties with the same name but different data types, Connector may give 'Type mismatch' error. Make sure that properties have unique names.
