Pierce Point

The Pierce command defines holes that will automatically be pierced by the cutting machine and not cut out as holes.

Tp access the Pierce command:

1. Do one of the following:
   • From the menu, click New Pierce.
   • From the toolbar, click Pierce .
   • Type PI or PIERCE into the program.

   The Location prompt displays.

   

2. Specify a location to place the pierce point using the mouse or by typing in the XY coordinates.
   Note: This command uses Absolute co-ordinates to position the pierce.
