Restore Last View

The Last View command is commonly used to revert back to the previous Model Space view after creating a sectional view. This can be useful on large drawings when switching between views of detailed sections.

1. To use this command, you must first have already created a sectional view.

   For example, below is a sample original view , before a sectional view has been created.

   

2. In this example, select Section View A-A and then click to create the sectional view.

   

3. Now that the sectional view has been created, do one of the following to revert back to the previous view:
   • From the CADmep toolbar, click .
   • At the command line, type LASTVIEW, and then press enter.

   The view is restored back to its original view.
