- Select ToolMinder > Tools to add tools.
- Select ToolMinder > Cycles to add cycles.
- Select File > Open Material File to open a material file.
- Select Job Optimizer > Defaults to set defaults.
- Select View > Setup to specify setup options, such as part boundaries.
- Create geometry in CAD mode or select File > Import DXF File to import geometry created using a different CAD package.
- There are two options:
- If making an axial hole, select Part Features > New Hole Group to add a new hole group.
- If performing a turning operation, select Part Features > New Profile Group to add a new profile group.
- Create profiles using one of the following icons:
Profile — For turning operations, use this icon to create a profile using snap modes.
Chain — Use this icon to create a profile, by selecting an end point of a line or an arc. PartMaker automatically finds all connected lines and arcs.
- Repeat steps 7 through 8 to create groups of all part features required for the job.
- Select Job Optimizer > Post Config File to select a post processor file.
- Select Job Optimizer > Generate Process Table to generate a Process Table.
- Select Job Optimizer > Generate NC Program to generate an NC program.
