Distance From Part Face — Select how you want to specify the distance from the Face of the part to the tool:
- To: Left Tool Edge (P1) — Select to use the distance from the Face of the part to the left edge of the tool. Enter this value in the P1 field.
- To: Tool Center (P2) — Select to use the distance from the Face of the part to tool center. Enter this value in the P2 field.
- To: Right Tool Edge (P3) — Select to use the distance from the Face of the part to the right edge of the tool. Enter this value in the P3 field.
X_Surf (S) — Enter the signed distance from the zero reference point to the part surface.
X_Rapid (R) — Enter the distance between the bottom tip of the tool and the part surface when a tool performs rapid moves.
Clearance (C) — Enter the distance between the bottom tip of the tool and the part surface when a tool starts feeding into the part.
Tool Diam (d) — Enter the diameter of the tool to be used.
Tool ID — Enter the ID of the selected tool. When you have saved the group, you can click the icon showing a representation of the tool (for example ) to display the Edit Tool dialog to view, or modify, details of the tool.
