Use the Curve Properties dialog to change the properties of a profile curve in the Face window for an Advanced Surface Machining (ASM) group.
To display the Curve Properties dialog:
- Double-click the profile curve in the Face window; or
- Select the curve in the Face window, and then selectEdit > Properties.
For ASM, PartMaker displays 2D curves (and uses them in toolpath calculations) at a user-specified distance from the Face Origin, using the Distance from Face Origin setting on the Curve Properties dialog. The distance is measured along the normal to the Face plane.
Other settings available on the Curve Properties dialog vary depending on the type of curve selected.
