Use this menu option to import a Generic Program Format (.GPF) file, containing groups of part features, into a PartMaker Face window. You can import up to eight .gpf files, representing eight different parts or eight different views of the same part.
Selecting this menu option displays the Import .GPF File dialog for you to select the file you want to import.
Generic Program Format (.gpf) files are similar to part program files, but they do not contain machining parameters, such as feed rates, spindle speeds and tools numbers. PartMaker uses the information from the .gpf file, together with the tool and material information associated with the current PartMaker .job file, to generate the final NC part profile for the job.
