About Connector Class Properties

When you create new assets, you can make them work together by using connector class properties. These properties help control how the asset parameters connect and interact with each other.

How to Use Connector Class Properties

The Connector Class Properties dialog enables you to select the connector class for the asset. You can also set the values for these properties. They are stored in a separate file in .XML format.

System Connector Classes

The product provides a set of system connector classes for use with both System Assets and User Assets. You can find these files on your local drive in the C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Factory Design(version)\FactoryLibrary folder.

Custom Connector Classes

You can also create your own custom connector classes. These classes are stored in the C:\username\Documents\FactoryLibrary\ConnectorClasses folder.
