Deprecated Codec and Feature
The following features provided by third-parties are now deprecated because no arm64 executables are available:
- The Sony SStP codec
- The EasyDCP plug-in
ARRI ARRIRAW
The ARRIRAW SDK is updated to version 7.1.1. This update comes with the following improvements.
- The ARRI ALEXA MXF (ProRes) reel name now matches that of the MXF (ARRIRAW).
- The versions of the HDE and Pixspan SDKs are now shown in .
- Apple ProRes compression has been added to the ARRI MXF format.
- HDE and Pixspan compressions have been added for ARRIRAW format.
- QuickTime movies can now be tagged with the ARRI LogC V4 colour space.
- Content generated from the ALEXA MINI LF with firmware 7.2, released on February 15 2023, is now supported. See ALEXA MINI LF SUP 7.2.
ARRI REVEAL Color Science for ARRI cameras. In addition to the ALEXA 35, ARRI REVEAL Color Science is now available for the ALEXA 65, ALEXA LF and Mini LF, and all previous ALEXA models, including the ALEXA Mini and the AMIRA. This means you can now debayer every ARRI camera to LogC WideGamut V4.
- You define the Colour Space of the selected clips in
Colour Space to:
- File Header (applies LogC V3 or LogC V4 based on the content)
- LogC WideGamut V4

RED
The default RED debayering resolution is now set to Full Resolution.
Sony
The default SonyRAW debayering resolution is now Full Resolution.
SonyRAW SDK Update. The new SonyRAW SDK 4.1 was released to match media related to Sony Venice 2 camera firmware V 2.00, released on January 9 2023. The following capabilities have been added:
- Updated recording modes:
- Full Frame
- 8.6 K 17:9 (up to 48 fps)
- 8.2 K 2.39:1 (up to 72 fps)
- 8.1 K 16:9 up to 48 fps)
- Super35 Anamorphic
- 5.8 K 4:3 (up to 60 fps)
- Super35
- 5.5 K 2.39:1 (up to 120 fps)
- Full Frame
- Support for Apple ProRes 4444 XQ recording
File Sequence Start Frame
The file sequence index is now used to feed the Start Frame value. The Start Frame value for Movie and audio files is set to 1 by default. Clips and Pattern Browsing for file sequence now also support Start Frame from file index.
