Cloud Deployment (What's New in 2024.1)

Update to the base AMI for a Flame Family deployment on AWS.

The ADSK base AMI ROCKY LINUX 8.7 V5 fixes an issue related to restarting the pmcd service. The previous image, adsk-baseami-rockylinux-87-v4.vmdk.zip, has been removed and replaced by adsk-baseami-rockylinux-87-v5.vmdk.zip, available at the Linux installer images (ISO, AMI) and driver packages (DKU) for Flame Family Products page.

Note: AWS added G5 instances to more regions. See this AWS page for more information.

Flame Family 2024 (and later) does not support CentOS 7.6. To use Flame 2024.2 products, you need to create Rocky Linux 8.7 instances or install it on an existing Rocky Linux 8.5 instance. The Rocky Linux 8.5 AMI is no longer available.

For more information, see Autodesk Flame Family Cloud Reference Implementation.
