User-modified keyboard shortcuts are part of the user settings that can be exported and saved to a location of your choice. These settings can then be imported onto any other computer where you need to work.

  1. Launch the Setup application.
  2. Navigate to the User tab.
  3. Click on the Export… button found in the User Profile section.
  4. Select a destination for the .zip file that will be generated.

Importing Keyboard Shortcuts

You can import keyboard shortcuts onto any other computer or OS user login using the Setup application.

  1. Launch the Setup application.
  2. Navigate to the User tab.
  3. Click on the drop-down button next to the Import… button and select Shortcuts.
  4. Click the Import... button.
  5. Choose the .zip file from which you wish to import the keyboard shortcuts.

The imported keyboard shortcuts are stored in your OS user login files at the following locations:

  • macOS: /Users/<user name>/Library/Preferences/Autodesk/flame/shortcuts/

The keyboard shortcuts will be available the next time you launch Flame, Flare, or Flame Assist.
