Indicates a feature suggested and voted up by users on the Flame Feedback portal.
Adding a Third-Party Colour Policy
You no longer have to export a colour policy to create the policies
folder. The policies
folder is now created when Flame Family is installed, making it easier to use a Flame colour policy created by a third party.
Colour Managed Broadcast Monitor
The image is now properly colour managed in the broadcast monitor when the Screen Grab or Viewing Area modes are selected in the Broadcast Monitor preferences, and the Graphics and Broadcast colour spaces do not match.
Sample Colours at Different Depths
The RGB value of the sampled pixel can now be displayed in different bit depth inside the Colour Sampler window. You can display the value 8-bit, 10-bit, 12-bit, 16-bit floating-point and Hex, or use the bit depth of the source.
- Source always uses the bit depth of the image sampled in the Player or the Viewport.
- The bit depth display selection is available in the Colour Sampler window containing the Display Colour Space information.
- The option is not available in the Colour Sampler that samples a live pixel under the cursor.
Colours as Hex Values
You can use hexadecimal colour values in the Colour Picker.
- Supports 7-character HEX value.
- Supports only characters from 0 to 9, A to F. # is supported, but only it is entered as the first character.
