Comparing Tracks

In Timeline, you can compare two tracks together, such as an online and offline version. By merging both tracks into a single image, you can compare the two for editing synchronization, colour matching, etc.

The split screen compares versions as well as video tracks.

To compare tracks in Timeline:

1. Click the Timeline tab.

2. Set the Primary and Secondary tracks.

3. In the View Area menu bar, click Options Show View Settings.

4. In section Compare Mode / Stereo, select a comparison mode.

   Depending on the mode, you will have different options to compare the two tracks.

   Note: Is you cannot select mode, you must define a secondary track on the timeline since you always compare the primary track to the secondary. To set the secondary track, in the Patch panel, right-click a track and select Set as Secondary Track.
