Using the 360 VR Mode Widget
The 360 VR mode is a tool that allows you to properly visualize a latitude/longitude image and navigate the image, within a 360 degree environment, in the Player / Multiview Viewport.
The option can be enabled from the Player / Viewport context menu or using a button inside the Viewing Settings / View menu.
When enabled, a widget is displayed in the top left of a Player / Viewport when the 360 VR mode is enabled and indicates which area of the image you're currently viewing.
There are three methods of navigating within the widget:
- Using the arrows within the widget.
- Holding down the Ctrl+Shift shortcut and clicking & dragging in the viewport to pan around within the image. This can also be done during playback.
- Entering specific Pitch and Yaw values in their respective numeric fields, located in the Viewing Settings / View menu.
Ctrl-clicking on the widget resets the Player / Viewport to the default Yaw & Pitch values.
