Supported Blackmagic Design Video I/O Hardware

Flame Family products support Blackmagic Design capture and playback solutions. For the list of recommended Blackmagic Design hardware, see the Flame Family system requirements.

Unless stated otherwise, Flame Family supports the different combinations of formats, resolutions, and frame rates supported by Blackmagic Design products.

Supported resolutions and frame rates.

  • Supported resolution: broadcast resolutions, including DCI variants up to DCI 4K (4096 x 2160).
  • Supported frame rate: broadcast frame rates, up to 60 fps. 48 fps is not supported.

Flame Family supports up to 12G links.

Limitations

The only known limitations are the following ones:

  • No Headroom option
  • No 3G Level A

Sample Interleave (SI) is supported, but you configure it in Blackmagic Desktop Video Setup application, not in the Flame Family products.
