Export and Import Markers

Export Markers

Use the Export Markers... option from the Markers view's Gear menu to export the content of the Markers list in an XML or CSV file.

• A file exported in the Autodesk Flame XML format can only be imported back in a Flame Family product.
• A file exported in the Autodesk Flame CSV format can be imported in any application capable of loading a CSV file, such as Microsoft Excel.

Export Selected Items

Export either all Markers or only the selected ones using the All Items / Selected Items button in the Export Markers file browser.

Export Visible Columns

With the Autodesk Flame CSV file format selected, export either all the columns available in the Markers view or only the visible ones using the All Columns / Visible Columns option.

Import Markers

Use the Import Markers... option from the Markers view's Gear menu to import the content of an XML or CSV file into the Markers list. The imported file must comply with the format used by Flame Family products. If it does not, the import fails, and an error message is displayed.

Append or Replace

Decide whether to append new markers to the list of existing markers of a clip or to replace them using the Append Markers / Replace Markers option in the Import Markers file browser.
