Managing Projects

Click Manage or select Manage in a project's context menu to modify the settings of a project. Not all settings can be modified. These include the Project Name, Project Home, Setups Directory, Media Cache, and Preview Format.

Projects can be edited at any time during a session.

  1. Open the Flame menu at the bottom-right of the user interface.

  2. Select Project Management.

  3. In the Project Management window, select a project.

  4. Click Manage

The following settings can be modified from the Manage Project panel:

    • OCIO Config
    • Resolution
    • Start Frame
    • Frame Rate
    • Thumbnail
    • Proxy Media settings
    • Cache and Renders settings
  5. To apply the changes, click Modify. Click Cancel to discard them.

Note: Only projects created in the same application version as the one being used can be modified.

Deleting Projects

Click Delete or select Delete in a project's context menu to delete the selected projects.

Deleting a project deletes:

  • The project from the database.
  • The content of the project's home location.
  • The content of the Setups Directory, if it is located under the Project Home.
  • The content of the Media Cache.
Note: The current project, indicated by a blue status button, cannot be deleted from the Project Management window opened from inside the application.
Warning: A warning dialog is displayed when deleting a project for which the Project Home location is not available. This could be because the project has been manually deleted from the file system. In this case, it is safe to delete the project to remove the reference from the database.
